Description

The Vin Santo del Chianti Riserva comes from the vineyards of the Fattoria di Bagnolo, historical property of the Marquises Bartolini Baldelli, located in the municipality of Impruneta.

Produced with Trebbiano, Malvasia and Canaiolo grapes, it was born following the harvest at the end of September, carried out manually with sorting of the bunches. After a period of drying of the bunches lasting 3 months, we proceed to the soft pressing. The must obtained is stored in barrels of various capacities and wood essences. The caratelli are sealed and sealed with sealing wax, and this Vin Santo del Chianti begins the aging phase, lasting 8 years.

Characterized by an intense amber yellow color, it has enveloping and complex olfactory scents, with notes of dried fruit and raisins, enriched with aromas reminiscent of apricot and chestnut honey. On the palate it is elegant, balanced, with a discreet note of sweetness. The finish is long and persistent, and respects the olfactory sensations.

Ideal to be served with candied pastries, it is excellent paired with cheese-based desserts, such as Cheese Cake. Perfect in combination with soft cheeses.
