Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2015 Madonna Nera

Rosso di Montalcino di Madonna Nera comes from vineyards located among the rolling hills of Montalcino, in the heart of Tuscany.

It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand, once the right degree of ripeness has been reached. Fermentation takes place, with maceration for 25 days, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of maximum 28 ° C. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in first and second passage French oak tonneaux.

Rosso di Montalcino di Madonna Nera has a ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with fruity hints of blackberry, raspberry and ripe plum. On the palate it is full-bodied and soft, with pleasant minerality.

This wine is perfect to accompany grilled meat and red meat dishes in general.
