Description
Rosso di Montepulciano Pancole di Folonari is born in vineyards located in the Tor Calvano Gracciano estates, where Prugnolo Gentile (the local selection of the Sangiovese grape variety) is mainly grown, together with other red grape varieties, both native and innovative.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested during the month of October. Fermentation takes place with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for about 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for about 6-8 months, and for further 3 months in bottle.
It is characterized by a bright red color. The nose opens with a fresh and intense bouquet, with aromas of red fruits. On the palate it is full and pleasantly soft.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with noble poultry.
