Rully AOP Clos La Folie 2022 Domaine de la Folie

The Rully Clos La Folie from Domaine de la Folie is a white wine produced in the commune of Chagny, in the Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy. Originating from a 1.96 hectare vineyard, this Chardonnay reflects the identity of the clay-limestone terroir with a north-northeast exposure, offering an authentic and refined expression of the Rully appellation.

The winemaking process involves a low-pressure pressing, followed by a meticulous settling and fermentation without the addition of sulfites. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 12 months on fine lees, preserving the aromatic purity and freshness of the wine.

In appearance, it has a bright golden yellow color. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, citrus, and white peach, accompanied by a pronounced minerality. On the palate, it is fresh and dynamic, with a balanced structure and a long, saline finish.

Ideal to pair with seafood, buttered fish, or poultry-based dishes.
