Description
This Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is produced by Château Peymouton in the historic estate of Château Laroque, located on a limestone plateau a few kilometers from the medieval village of Saint-Émilion. With a vineyard area of 31 hectares, this red wine is born from a terroir that combines tradition and quality vocation, carefully managed by the Beaumartin family.
The vinification takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel vats, with a delicate process management to enhance the fruit's freshness. The aging process is partially conducted in French oak barrels, providing balance and depth.
On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, accompanied by light spicy notes and mineral undertones. On the palate, it is harmonious and enveloping, with a full structure supported by velvety tannins and a lively freshness that enhances its persistence.
It pairs perfectly with dishes based on braised or roasted red meats.
