Salento IGT Negroamaro 2016 Vigne di San Donaci
Description
The Salento Negroamaro of Vigne San Donaci originates in San Donaci, in the province of Brindisi, in the heart of the IGT Salento.
It is produced exclusively with Negroamaro grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 22-24 ° C for 8-10 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages for 5 months in steel and for another month in the bottle before being released on the market.
The Negroamaro Vigne di San Donaci has an intense ruby red color. The nose highlights aromas of black currant and black mulberry, which mix with balsamic and Mediterranean scrub notes. In the mouth it shows a wine of structure and good balance, with compact and soft tannins.
Recommended together with cold cuts and cheeses that are not too seasoned, it goes well with first courses with meat sauce and roasts.
