Description
Paolo Leo's Salento Primitivo Agricolo was born in vineyards, organically run, located in the municipality of San Donaci, in the province of Brindisi.
It is produced with pure Primitivo grapes, manually harvested in boxes in the last week of August. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22-24 ° C for 8-10 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation follows.
Paolo Leo's Agricola has a bright ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with an intense and enveloping bouquet, with notes of cherry and black cherry, enriched with pleasant spicy hints. On the palate it is sweet and savory, with a balanced and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany first courses based on red sauces, it is ideal in combination with red meats and game.
