Description

The Primitivo of the Orus line is produced by Vinosìa Luciano Ercolino, a company based in Paternopoli, in the heart of Irpinia.

It consists of 100% Primitivo grapes, harvested in the second half of September. The grapes are macerated for 7 days and fermented with the addition of indigenous yeasts in thermoregulated steel tanks. The wine then ages for 6 months in steel tanks.

Deep ruby red in colour, the nose is dominated by aromas of cherry, blueberry and blackberry. The sip is dry and round, with velvety tannins and a fairly persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with legume soups, grilled red meats and roast pork in the oven.
