Salento Susumaniello Rosato IGT Torre Testa 2020 Tenute Rubino

Torre Testa Rosato is the Susumaniello in purity produced by Tenute Rubino which takes its name from the towers formerly placed to guard the coast.

With sandy soils located at sea level, the grapes are harvested by hand during the second decade of September. Fermentation takes place between 16-18 ° C and is carried out in steel tanks. This is followed by a further 5 months refinement in steel and a maximum of two months in the bottle.

Soft pink in color, it has floral hints of rose, cherry blossom and red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry and currant. On the palate it is direct with good sapidity and sustained acidity, with elegant hints of raspberry and a compact, balanced and medium persistence finish.

The good acidity makes it suitable for fried fish, risotto with scampi, grilled tuna and grilled white meats.
