Description
The Salina Malvasia di Tasca d'Almerita was born in vineyards located on the Capofaro estate, in the heart of the Aeolian island of Salina.
It is produced exclusively with Malvasia grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for 25 days. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for 6 months before being bottled.
This Malvasia is characterized by an intense yellow color with golden reflections. The nose opens with an intense and aromatic bouquet, with fruity aromas of apricots and raisins, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of black pepper and lemongrass. On the palate it is with a balanced sweetness and acidity, pleasantly fresh and with a long citrus persistence.
Perfect to accompany appetizers, raw fish and seafood, it is ideal in combination with shellfish, fries and fresh cheeses.
