Sannio Guardia Sanframondi Aglianico DOP Janare Lùcchero 2015 La Guardiense

Lucchero is an Aglianico from a selection of grapes owned by the La Guardiense winery, located in the Sannio Beneventano area.

The grapes, harvested around mid-October from vines with an average age of about 15 years, come from a vineyard area of 15 hectares, defined by a clayey limestone soil at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level. After completing the alcoholic fermentation in steel, the wine carries out malolactic fermentation in tonneaux, where the aging continues for 6 months.

At sight it is intense ruby red. Juicy notes of red fruit such as cherry, morello cherry and raspberry appear on the nose, on a spicy vanilla background and an enveloping note of chocolate. The taste shows the character of its tannin and its structure, managed in balance with softness and freshness.
