Description
Falcotto was born in the vineyards of Cantine Fontezoppa, located in the Serrapetrona DOC, in the province of Macerata,
Obtained exclusively from Vernaccia Nera grapes, an autochthonous grape of the Macerata province, Falcotto develops its characteristics after maturing for twelve months in barrique, followed by about a year of aging in bottle, before being put on the market.
It shows a ruby red color of good intensity and brightness. The nose offers a complex mineral perfume, with notes of marasca jam and red cherries, followed by spices, including black pepper and cinnamon. In the mouth it proves to be a decisive wine, with a good acidity and a very spicy spicy aftertaste.
Thanks to its organoleptic characteristics it goes well with meat dishes, including furred game.
