Description
The Rosso Le Maioliche by Feudi del Pisciotto is a young, easy-to-drink wine, produced in Niscemi, in the province of Caltanissetta, from Merlot and Perricone grapes. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 80 meters above sea level. Inspired by the decorations of Sicilian ceramics, this wine embodies the essence of the sun, sea, and nature of the island, telling in the glass the aromatic and cultural richness of Sicily.
The vinification takes place in stainless steel, followed by naturally performed malolactic fermentation. The aging process extends for four months in steel and an additional two months in the bottle, maintaining freshness and varietal expressiveness.
Visually, it appears ruby red in color with violet reflections. On the nose and palate, it offers soft and fresh sensations, with an inviting and lively sip that evokes citrus notes, particularly of blood orange, providing a pleasant immediacy and drinkability.
It pairs perfectly with red meats, cheeses, and preparations based on white-fleshed fish such as tuna and swordfish.
