Description
What kind of wine is it
Soave Monte Ceriani by Tenuta Sant’Antonio is a white wine made exclusively from Garganega grapes grown in the area of Verona. Vinification takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with a brief cold maceration period, to maintain a crisp profile and a taste marked by freshness.
Where does it come from
The grapes come from vineyards located in the municipalities of Colognola ai Colli and Mezzane di Sotto, in the province of Verona, within the Soave area. This local origin defines an essential and recognizable style, closely tied to Garganega cultivated on the Veronese hills.
How is it produced
Harvesting is done by hand. After pressing, the must stays in contact with the skins for 10–12 hours in cold maceration; fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Ageing continues in the same vessels, at low temperatures.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it displays a straw yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, citrus notes emerge, recalling grapefruit. On the palate, it is fresh and smooth, with good persistence and a dry finish offering a delicate almond note.
Food pairings
It pairs well with appetizers, first courses, and vegetable-based dishes, thanks to its fresh and linear profile. It is also recommended with fish dishes and recipes featuring mushrooms, where the slightly almondy finish stays harmonious.
When to serve it
This is a white wine suitable for moments when you want a fresh and precise glass, from aperitif to the table. When served well chilled, it highlights the citrus aromas and smooth sip, enhancing the dry, almondy finish.
