Description
This Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast, produced by Kosta Browne, arises from a careful selection of vineyards located in the northern coastal zone and the southern edge of the designation area. The ocean-influenced climatic conditions and abundant rainfall favor a slow and complex ripening of the grapes, expressing the authenticity of the territory. The result is an elegant wine that embodies the region's distinctive style, with a strong identity linked to its origin.
The vinification process occurs mainly in stainless steel, accompanied by a portion in wooden and concrete barrels, with a minimal whole cluster. The maturation continues for 15 months in new French oak barrels, wooden barrels, and a small percentage of new Austrian oak. This meticulous process allows the purity of the fruit and the integrity of the terroir to be preserved, giving depth and structure to the wine.
On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of ripe red and blue fruits, accompanied by delicate hints of rain in the woods. On the palate, it stands out for its softness and enveloping nature, with notes of dark berries with vibrant energy and well-integrated tannins that give volume and harmony to the finish.
Ideal with mushroom dishes or lightly spiced white meats.
