Description

Rosa Bosco's Classic Method Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine from Rosa Bosco was born in the splendid setting of the Friuli hills.

It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from the hills of Rosazzo in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The grapes are harvested manually and, after a short cold maceration, undergo a soft pressing process and the static decanting of the must. The fermenting must is placed in French oak barrels and then the wine remains on the fermentation lees until the tirage. According to the classic method of sparkling wine, the wine referments in the bottle and remains on the lees for at least 3 years, before disgorgement.

It is a sparkling wine characterized by a deep yellow color with golden reflections, and by a very fine and persistent perlage. The aroma is intense, fresh, with notes of ripe Golden apple and enriched with a subtle and delicate hint of yeast. The taste is elegant, structured and persistent, with light and pleasant hints of ripe fruit, and a light hint of bread crust. The finish is long, with hints of vanilla.

This wine is perfect as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to delicate appetizers based on vegetables or raw fish.
