Description

Còrmons Spumante Brut Pinot Grigio Grand Cuvée originates in vineyards located in the municipality of Cormòns, the capital of Friuli wine.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested only by hand between the last ten days of August and the first of September. After destemming, the grapes are macerated at low temperature for a long time, then the must ferments at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine remains on the lees for 6-7 months and the second fermentation begins at the end of the spring following the harvest. Before being marketed, this sparkling wine ages for 16 months on the lees and in the bottle during the following winter.

It is characterized by a golden yellow color, with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose opens with an elegant and enveloping bouquet, with aromas of bread crust and hints of asparagus. On the palate it is intense and pleasantly soft and velvety.

Perfect to accompany aperitifs, cold cuts and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with first courses and fish dishes.
