Spumante Metodo Classico Zero Dosaggio Alfiere 2014 Croci
Description
The Spumante Metodo Classico Alfiere di Croci rises on the Piacenza hills, in the town of Monterosso di Castell'Arquato.
It is produced with Ortrugo grapes, an autochthonous Piacenza variety. After a soft pressing of the grapes, the vinification takes place traditionally in white. Second fermentation follows with aging for 18 months on its lees.
The color is pale straw yellow with greenish shades. The nose brings finesse and complexity at the same time, with delicate hints of yellow fruits and bread crust. In the mouth the impact is soft and pleasant, dry, with good structure and harmony.
Recommended to serve fresh as an aperitif, it accompanies splendidly fish entrées and seafood risotto.
