Südtirol - Alto Adige Pinot Bianco DOC Plattenriegl 2017 Girlan

The Alto Adige Pinot Bianco Plattenriegl di Girlan was born in vineyards located in Cornaiano, in the Bolzano municipality of Appiano.

It is entirely produced with Pinot Bianco grapes, manually harvested in small containers. After a gentle pressing of the whole bunch, fermentation takes place mainly in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature, and partly in large oak barrels. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages on its lees for 6 months, before being bottled.

Girlan's Plattenriegl is characterized by an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens with evident hints of white peach, accompanied by elegant notes of acacia and lily of the valley. On the palate it is delicate and fresh but at the same time full.

Excellent as an aperitif, this white wine is perfect to accompany appetizers and fish dishes.
