Description

The Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC from Adler von Klausen is a classic white wine that expresses the vibrancy and elegance typical of the grape in a unique alpine context. The vineyards, located between 450 and 750 meters above sea level on the southeast slopes of the Isarco Valley, root deeply in deep alluvial soils, fertile and rich in porphyritic sediments, ensuring balanced growth and intense aromas.

The winemaking involves a gentle pressing, followed by controlled temperature fermentation and aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. This process excludes malolactic fermentation, thus preserving all the freshness and natural aromaticity of the Sauvignon.

It presents a greenish-yellow color. The nose reveals an intense bouquet with herbal notes and hints of blackcurrant. On the palate, it is dry, soft, and typically varietal, with a pleasant persistence and a perfect balance between freshness and roundness.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with asparagus, snails, and steamed or grilled fish dishes.
