A Sylvaner of consistency, with notes of Golden apple on the nose, then bergamot and jasmine. Crunchy and dense to drink, savory, with a fruity-citrus return and nice length.

Description

The Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC by Adler von Klausen is a classic white wine that expresses the liveliness and elegance typical of the grape variety in a unique alpine setting. The vineyards, located between 450 and 750 meters above sea level on the south-eastern slopes of the Valle Isarco, are rooted in deep, fertile alluvial soils rich in porphyritic sediments, ensuring balanced growth and intense aromas.

The winemaking involves a gentle pressing, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature and aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. This process excludes malolactic fermentation, thus preserving all the freshness and natural aromaticity of the Sauvignon.

It displays a greenish-yellow color. The nose reveals an intense bouquet with herbaceous notes and hints of blackcurrant. On the palate, it is dry, soft, and typically varietal, with a pleasant persistence and a perfect balance between freshness and roundness.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with asparagus, snails, and steamed or grilled fish dishes.
