Description
The Taurasi Pago Dei Fusi of Cantina Terredora was born in the vineyards of Pietradefusi on the hills of the Calore river valley, in Campania.
It is produced entirely from Aglianico grapes harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place for about 28 days at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. The wine ages initially in French oak barriques for about 14 months and for another 24 months in bottle, before being released on the market.
Taurasi Pago Dei Fusi is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of cherry, enriched with hints of plum, tobacco, pepper and tar. On the palate it is soft and velvety. This wine is characterized by its sweet and elegant tannins and gives a slightly spicy finish.
It is ideal in combination with game and roasted pork roasts, it is excellent to accompany mushrooms and seasoned cheeses such as gorgonzola and parmesan.
