Description
Taurasi Patroferno is a wine produced in Campania. The vineyards of Aglianico are grown in lands characterized by volcanic soil rich in minerals, which gives the wine a unique character.
The wine is produced following a traditional winemaking process, from hand-harvested and carefully selected grapes. After fermentation, the wine is aged in wooden barrels, which gives it an elegant structure and a complex aromatic profile.
This Taurasi presents a fascinating aromatic bouquet, in whose aromas one can recognize notes of morello cherry, spices and sweet violet. On the palate, the wine is dry and well balanced. Its lively acidity and well-integrated tannins give it a robust yet elegant character. The persistence of flavors in the mouth is remarkable, with a long and satisfying finish.
It lends itself well to sophisticated gastronomic combinations. Thanks to its structure and complexity, it is ideal to enjoy with red meat dishes, such as roasts, grilled steaks or game. It also pairs well with mature cheeses and dishes rich in flavour, such as traditional Italian cuisine.
