Taurasi Riserva DOCG Scorzagalline 2017 Fonzone

The Taurasi Riserva Scorzagalline is obtained from a vineyard of only Aglianico located on the top of a hill in the homonymous district, in Paternopoli, choosing only the grapes from the highest section of the plant.

The vinification foresees a fermentation in steel of 15-20 days with a long maceration in contact with the skins and an aging of 4 years, of which 18 months in new French oak barrels.

The result is a wine with a brilliant ruby red color. The nose is fine and complex, with intense notes of black berry fruit, dried flowers and tertiary hints such as tobacco, leather, licorice and sandalwood. The sip is enveloping and persistent, with an elegant structure.

At the table he prefers structured first courses, roasts and game in general.
