Description
Sang de Corb is a red wine produced in Spain by Celler Frisach using Garnacha Fina, Garnacha Peluda, and Cariñena grapes, cultivated according to organic farming methods in the Corbera d’Ebre area, in Terra Alta. The three varieties, coming from mixed vineyards over 65 years old, are vinified together to enhance the ancient local viticultural heritage.
After manual harvesting, the grapes ferment together according to tradition, and the wine ages for twelve months in 300-liter oak barrels. This process imparts structure and elegance while maintaining the fresh fruit identity without stylistic compromises.
It presents a cherry red color with garnet reflections. The aroma is elegant and medium-intensity, with notes of ripe red fruit, violet, spices, and light toasted wood notes. On the palate, it's smooth, silky, with good acidity, balance, and a fine structure that accompanies a long, fruity finish.
Ideal with grilled red meats, game, or aged hard cheeses.
