Description

La Faya was born from the awareness of the Fay family to have a unique terrain in front of it, full of surprises and potential. This terrain led them to experiment, up to bottling this blend of red berried grapes that speaks an international language with decidedly dialectal accents.

It consists of Nebbiolo, Merlot and Syrah grapes, harvested from vineyards located west of the municipality of Teglio, at an altitude of 550 m above sea level. Fermented in steel tanks and aged for 12 months in small wooden barrels of 500 lt.

The glass is colored with a bright ruby red. The nose is the synthesis of the varietal expression of the three grape varieties: cherry, morello cherry, black pepper, licorice and a trace of dark chocolate. The taste shows features of completeness given by softness and freshness, spicy aromaticity and discreet tannic finish. A stratified and surprising wine, capable of persisting for a long time in the sign of its aromaticity.

To be combined with a grilled fillet of beef.
