Terre del Volturno IGT Pallagrello Nero Cunto 2015 Michele Alois
Description
Terre del Volturno Pallagrello Nero Cunto by Michele Alois was born in vineyards located in the Caserta area of Pontelatone, in Campania.
It is produced exclusively from Pallagrello Nero grapes, harvested and selected by hand during the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place, with cold maceration, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in barrique for 12 months and in bottle for another 6 months, before being placed on the market.
The Pallunto Nero Cunto by Michele Alois is characterized by an intense, bright and brilliant ruby red color. The nose opens with floral aromas of violet and geranium, enriched with fruity and spicy hints, among which black pepper and juniper predominate. On the palate it shows medium structure, with an excellent tannic component and a soft and enveloping taste.
This wine is perfect to accompany earthen risotto, in particular with mushrooms, roasted or grilled red meats and salted white meats.
