Description
Hanami is an elegant rosé made from Merlot grapes grown in central-western Sicily, at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level. The area's soil and climate conditions and the varietal choice bestow upon the wine a particular aromatic finesse and a balanced structure, an authentic expression of Fina's oenological vision.
The grapes are vinified in steel at a controlled temperature for eight days. After fermentation, the wine ages in steel on the lees for about three months. A cold stabilization phase precedes fermentation, with the must kept at 0-1 °C in the presence of the pulp for fifteen days, in order to extract the most delicate aromas and preserve freshness.
In the glass, it presents a pale pink color. The nose opens with floral scents of peach, jasmine, and citrus blossom, accompanied by vegetal hints of boxwood. On the palate, fruity notes of black cherry, flat peach, and blueberry emerge, with exotic touches of lychee and grapefruit, for a fresh, aromatic, and persistent sip.
Perfect paired with fish appetizers, shellfish, seafood dishes, and particularly with sushi and sashimi.
