Description

Syrah by Angiuli Donato is a Sicilian red wine born on the slopes of the Madonie, in the northern part of Sicily, at an altitude of 400-500 meters above sea level

The wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes, which are harvested in September. Once in the cellar they are vinified in red in thermo-controlled tanks. Subsequently the wine is aged in steel and in French oak barrels for 10 months, to conclude with 2 months in the bottle.

Deep ruby red in color, on the nose there are hints of black fruits such as blackberry and black currant, in addition to the classic spicy notes of black pepper. The taste is fresh and soft, with well integrated tannins and long persistence.

Excellent to combine with first courses with meat sauce, roasted meats and aged cheeses.
