Description
The Legit di Tolaini was born in the heart of the Chianti Classico, in the splendid hilly area of Castelnuovo della Berardenga, one of the most suitable in the area. In addition to Sangiovese, the area has also proved to be very suitable for the most famous international varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on calcareous-clayey soils rich in skeleton.
The grapes, carefully selected, first in the vineyard and then in the cellar, are fermented at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for over 30 days. The wine rests for 24 months in French oak barriques.
Intense and mature, it has a dark ruby red color and expresses aromas of small dark berries, hints of spice, vanilla, licorice, slight vegetal and green pepper nuances. The sip is broad and deep, with elegant tannins and a dense and harmonious fruit.
To be paired with game and roasted red meat.
