Description

This Chardonnay comes from the vineyards located on the northwest slope of the Isole e Olena estate, nestled in the tranquility of the forest at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters. The terrain, particularly suited for viticulture, is composed of a combination of limestone, marl, and galestro, which contributes to the aromatic complexity and structure of the wine.

The Chardonnay grapes are fermented in small wooden barrels, only 30% of which are new, and matured with extended contact with the finest lees. The wine is subsequently allowed to age long on the fine lees, a technique that enhances depth and creaminess on the palate, as well as ensuring greater longevity.

In appearance, it shows a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, it releases a refined bouquet with hints of ripe fruit, citrus, white flowers, and a slight vanilla note. On the palate, it is harmonious, structured, and persistent, with a pleasant minerality that enhances its freshness.

Ideal when paired with fish dishes, delicate white meats, and fresh cheeses.
