Description

The Docet sees the light inside the Conti di San Bonifacio company, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

This wine is made 50% with Cabernet Franc grapes and 50% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected manually in mid-September. After the first stages of vinification carried out in steel at controlled temperatures, the must is left to rise for eighteen months in new and second-hand French oak barriques. Before being put on the market, the product ages in the bottle for at least twelve months.

The Docet is characterized by a ruby red color, with light purple textures. It opens with an elegant and refined fruity bouquet, where the notes of blueberry raspberry enhance the nose together with light spicy and herbaceous hints, typical of the vines. In the mouth it shows a great structure and excellent freshness, with a soft tannin and a very persistent finish.

Perfect in combination with grilled red meats, roasts and game, not too seasoned.
