Toscana IGT Equilibrio 2011 Cielsereno
Description
The Equilibrio wine was born in the beautiful Cielsereno winery, immersed in the gentle hills of Casole d'Elsa, in the province of Siena.
Made entirely from Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand in late September, Equilibrio is left to ferment and macerate in steel tanks for 25 days, at controlled temperatures. Follows the malolactic fermentation and the maturation phase in barrique for at least 6 months.
This pure Sangiovese has a dense ruby red color. The nose offers a remarkable aromatic complexity that is revealed after a while of oxygenation, with notes of cherry that go well with peppery sensations and delicate aromas of violet. In the mouth it shows a good acidic vein which gives excellent longevity and easy drinking.
Excellent with grilled red meats and stewed meats, it is perfect to accompany medium-aged cheeses and meat sauce.
