Description

The Rosso Toscana Il Toro of Castello Romitorio was born in vineyards located in Scansano, in the province of Siena. The name Toro represents not only the power of the wine but above all the Maremmana culture linked to the life of the cowherds.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested during the month of September. The wine ages in oak barriques for 14 months, before being bottled.

Taurus is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and sweet fruity bouquet, enriched with pleasant notes of rose petals. On the palate it is warm, soft, with a deep and fruity tannic texture. The wine has a pleasantly long finish.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
