Description

The Obvius Giallo Oro di Salcheto comes to life in the vineyard of only 2 hectares of Poggio Piglia, located in the Sienese municipality of Chiusi.

It is produced with white berried grapes of the Trebbiano and Malvasia varieties, harvested after the appearance of the first signs of attack by noble molds. After the fermentation in white without any addition of sulphites, the wine ages for 12 months in tonneaux and then remains for 6 months in bottle.

Golden yellow in color, it releases hints of dehydrated apricot and acacia honey on the nose, immediately followed by suggestive references of flint. Wine with great drinkability and freshness, it shows remarkable balance.

Perfect as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with dessert and blue cheeses.
