Description
The Rosato Toscana di Castello di Ama is born in vineyards located on the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
It is produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. Before fermentation, the must remains in stainless steel tanks in contact with the skins for 12 hours, with the aim of giving the wine a beautiful intense pink color. Fermentation takes place in white in the same containers at a controlled temperature of 18-20 ° C. Subsequently the wine is refined in the bottle.
It is characterized by a soft cherry color. The nose opens with aromas of ripe cherries, enriched with pleasant hints of wild strawberry. On the palate it is pleasantly fruity, with a savory and persistent body.
Perfect to accompany sushi and fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with seafood.
