Description
The Caiarossa Rosso is the flagship label of the company, a Tuscan red wine born from a harmonious balance between Bordeaux and Mediterranean varieties grown using biodynamic methods on the hills of Riparbella. The careful selection of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Grenache grapes and the richness of the soils give this wine a complex and deep personality, truly expressing the territory.
The varieties are vinified separately in concrete and wood vats, with slow fermentations and delicate macerations. After malolactic fermentation, the wines are blended and aged for about 14 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new, to enhance structure and finesse without overshadowing varietal identity.
The aromatic profile is broad and refined, with notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, aromatic herbs, and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is distinguished by balance and depth, with silky tannins, good freshness, and a long, enveloping persistence.
It pairs very effectively with structured meat dishes, braised or roasted, and with aged cheeses.
