Description
The Rosso Cororosso Tuscany of Tenuta Il Corno is born in vineyards located in the heart of the Val di Pesa, in the cellar built in the XII century by an ancient Florentine family, of Pistoia origin, the Del Corno.
It is produced with Colorino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested during the beginning of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 12-15 months and for further 10-12 months in steel.
The Cornorosso is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with a rich bouquet, with hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate it is soft, with thick tannins and a pleasantly balanced flavor.
Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and roasts, it is ideal in combination with game.
