Description
The Rosso Rosso Cosimo di Cosimo Maria Masini was born in vineyards located on the rolling hills of San Minato, an ancient medieval village in the heart of Tuscany, in the province of Pisa, along the route of the Via Francigena, land of wines and white truffles.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with native varieties. Fermentation takes place without adding selected yeasts for 20 days, with only manual punching down. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 16 months before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with hints of plum and blackberry, enriched with pleasant spicy cocoa notes. On the palate it is enveloping, with a spicy pepper finish.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
