Description
Geremia is a red wine produced by Rocca di Montegrossi in Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. Crafted from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the principles of certified organic farming, it embodies the meeting of Tuscan elegance and international structure, fully expressing the character of its territory of origin.
Vinification involves fermenting each grape variety separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration on the skins to ensure a balanced extraction of color and tannins. The wine then ages in French oak—using barriques, tonneaux, and barrels of varying capacities—before completing its maturation in bottles in the winery’s cellars.
It appears deep, intense ruby red in color. The nose reveals complex aromas of ripe red and black fruits, spicy notes, balsamic nuances, and delicate toasted undertones from maturation in oak. On the palate, it is enveloping and structured, with silky tannins, good freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.
It pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, braised dishes, game, and aged cheeses, enhancing their rich flavor and aromatic complexity.
