Description
The Toscana Rosso La Fagiana from the Fattoria di S. Quintino comes from vineyards located on the gentle hill of San Quintino, in the heart of San Miniato.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 12 months and for a further 12 months in bottle before being put on the market.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet, with hints of black berry fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is of great structure, pleasantly persistent and with soft and ripe tannins.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
