Toscana IGT Rosso Virtus 2021 Prima Domus

Virtus is a Tuscan red wine derived from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, an expression of the Prima Domus project. It was born from the idea of two wine communicators who, after years of experience in the sector, decided to create a label that represents freshness, elegance, and authenticity. It stands out for its modern and accessible style, capable of conveying Tuscany with immediacy and character.

The harvest is carried out manually with separate collection of the grapes. Each variety is vinified individually to enhance its peculiarities. The Sangiovese ages for 18 months in large oak barrels, while the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon rest for 12 months in medium toast barriques from the Quintessence and Baron selections, contributing to create a harmonious balance between freshness and structure.

It appears with a bright ruby red color. On the nose, it is complex and fascinating, with aromas of wild strawberry, pomegranate, and red fruit, accompanied by light vanilla nuances and toasted hints. On the palate, it is elegant and well-balanced, with silky tannins and a lively freshness that enhances the depth and persistence of the finish.

Ideal with grilled meat dishes or savory roasts.
