Description

The Tuscany Valdisanti di Tolaini was born in vineyards located in the Sienese municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in Tuscany.

It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and with Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in wooden tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration in contact with the skins for 30 days. After the malolactic fermentation in largely new French oak barrels, the wine always refines in barriques for 22 months and in bottle for a further 12 months.

It has a deep ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with clear aromas of dried fruit and cinnamon, enriched with notes of pepper and vanilla. On the palate it has a very structured body, with round and soft tannins, aromas of ripe fruit and an aftertaste of vanilla and licorice.

Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
