Description
Fattoria La Torre's Vermentino is a white wine made from pure Vermentino grapes, cultivated in the Cantina and Villa vineyards located at 320 meters above sea level. The vines, with an average age of 15 years, grow on medium-textured soils with a rich presence of stones, providing an ideal base for producing a fresh and fragrant wine.
The winemaking process involves a gentle pressing of the grapes followed by cold settling of the must for 10 days. After static decanting and an initial racking to clarify the juice, alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 13.5°C for about three weeks. Subsequently, the wine matures on fine lees for about five months, developing complexity and structure.
It presents itself with a clear and bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it is distinguished by aromas of citrus, exotic fruit, and light herbal notes. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and well-balanced, with a pleasant persistence that invites another sip.
Perfect to enjoy with seafood appetizers, shellfish, or lightly dressed fish salads.
