Description
Tuscany Vermentino di Monteverro was born in vineyards located in the Grosseto municipality of Capalbio, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.
It is produced entirely with Vermentino grapes, manually harvested in early September and pressed whole. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in the same containers, on the fine lees, before being bottled.
This Vermentino di Monteverro has a pale straw yellow color with green reflections. The nose opens with an explosion of minerality, with scents of mango and pear, enriched with notes of orange blossom, jasmine and toasted bread. On the palate it is fresh and vibrant, with hints of mandarin, apricot, graphite, rose and white chocolate.
Perfect to accompany roasted fish, crustaceans and molluscs, this white wine is ideal in combination with fresh cheeses, white meats, mushroom dishes and omelettes.
