Description

This Vermentino is a fresh and marine white wine produced by Viticcio, in the Pignatelli Magliano area, on sandy and silty soils with a predominance of sandstone. The vineyards, cultivated according to certified organic methods, are located at an altitude of 200 meters with south and southwest exposure.

The wine is vinified in stainless steel at low temperatures (13°C), without undergoing malolactic fermentation. It ages for 4 months on the lees, still in stainless steel, with cold stabilization to preserve its freshness and aromatic purity.

The color is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it recalls the evening sea breeze, with floral notes of acacia, hawthorn, and heather, and fruity and aromatic hints of pear, pineapple, and sage. The palate is full, fresh, and savory, with a marked mineral character and a long, persistent, and slightly bitter finish, typical of these white wines grown near the sea.

Perfect to pair with raw seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, or vegetarian dishes based on vegetables and aromatic herbs.
