Description
Santa Cristina Rosato Antinori is a Toscana Rosato IGT produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes in the cellar of Santa Cristina, born in 2006.
After the harvest of the single grapes by variety, the grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and immediately pressed in a soft way to obtain a slightly colored must; the other part, on the other hand, after destemming and crushing, was left to macerate for a few hours in stainless steel tanks. The must obtained was cooled to a temperature of 10 ° C to favor its natural clarification. After 48 hours it was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature not exceeding 15 ° C. The wine thus obtained was stored in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 10 ° C to preserve its aromatic component.
Intense salmon pink color, with hints of dog rose, wild strawberry, ripe apple. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with good alternation between body and fruit, good structure and medium persistence.
Perfect for white meats, beef tartare, vegetable-based first courses and pasta omelettes.
