Description

Toscana Rosso Pometti was born on the splendid Sienese hills, in vineyards located in territories with excellent climatic exposure.

It is produced 50% with Sangiovese grapes, the dominant red grape variety in Tuscany, 30% with Merlot and 20% with Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are harvested in the second half of September and undergo a maceration and fermentation process of about 20 days. Before bottling, Sangiovese is briefly aged in French oak barriques for 6 months.

Characterized by a bright ruby red color and enriched with violet reflections, Pometti has a pleasant and persistent perfume of black berried fruits. On the palate it is soft and balanced.

Ideal to be enjoyed with pasta dishes rich with tomato or meat sauce, it is perfect in combination with a white or red meat grill. Also excellent to accompany stewed meats.
