Description
The Tuscan red wine Primarily by Piandaccoli is a blend of 3 Tuscan red grapes Sangiovese, Pugnitello and Foglia tonda, which grow in the Malmantile and Granchiaia vineyards.
At the end of the harvest, the grapes undergo soft pressing and ferment in steel. The malolactic fermentation takes place partly in steel, partly in wood, at the end of which the wine is aged in tonneaux and in barrels for 12 months. Finally, it rests in the bottle for at least 15 months before being marketed.
It is a bright ruby red wine. The nose offers aromas of violet, ripe fruit such as cherry and plum, with final notes of cocoa and almond paste. The taste is warm and round, with good persistence, with velvety tannins.
Ideal in combination with roasted and stewed red meats.
