Description

What kind of wine is it?

Trento Extra Brut For4neri by Zanotelli is a Classic Method sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Val di Cembra. It is distinguished by its fine and persistent perlage, the result of a long ageing on the lees. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures (15-17°C), preserving freshness and structure, and offers a balanced and enjoyable style for both aperitif and throughout the meal.

Where does it come from?

This Extra Brut comes from Val di Cembra, a mountainous area north of Trento. The local vineyards contribute to the typical freshness of the territory. The area boasts a winemaking tradition that local families cultivate with care to ensure quality grapes.

How is it made?

The grapes are selected in the vineyard. After gentle pressing, the must ferments slowly at low temperature. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method with ageing on the lees for at least 36 months.

Tasting notes

On the eye, it is a brilliant straw-yellow with a very fine perlage. On the nose, aromas of Golden apple emerge, along with possible notes resulting from ageing on the lees. On the palate, the structure remains balanced: dry entry, sustained freshness and persistence closing on fruity notes and pleasant sapidity.

Food pairings

This Extra Brut pairs well with an aperitif of salmon canapés or fresh cheeses and accompanies an entire meal with success. Regionally, it marries well with white truffle risotto or cheese dumplings. Nationally, it is ideal with oysters, fish carpaccio, and seafood risotto, enhancing the liveliness and persistent savoriness of the wine.

When to serve

It is best served chilled in tulip-shaped glasses to highlight the perlage. Thanks to the prolonged ageing on the lees, the wine can show further complexity after a period of bottle ageing, while keeping its freshness and vibrancy. Suitable for celebratory moments or throughout the meal, it offers a balanced and lively experience.
