Description

The Friulano of Tenute Tomasella is born in vineyards located in Friuli.

50% of the grapes are vinified in white with soft pressing, the remaining half undergoes a cryomaceration for 10 hours. Subsequently, the must ferments at a controlled temperature (16-18 °C). Finally, the wine refines on the lees for 5 months in steel and then 2 months in the bottle.

Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, the nose reveals aromas of acacia flowers and crunchy fruit of apples and pears. The taste is fresh and full-bodied, well balanced between acidity and flavour.

This wine goes very well with fish or cured meat appetizers, with rice salads, light first courses and fresh or semi-aged cheeses.
